Procurement Specialist
What you will enjoy doing
- As a Procurement Specialist you are managing and participating in procurement, purchasing and sourcing services in for CAPEX (Capital Expenditures: fixed assets, machines, equipment) and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Operations), direct materials (resin & masterbatch, secondary packaging)
- Knowledge of import and export processes for machinery and raw materials (e.g., plastic resin), including import duties, tax regulation, etc.
- Knowledge in procuring logistics/trucking services and secondary packaging materials (e.g., carton boxes, plastic bags)
- With solid experience in purchasing and inventory control
- Related experience in using ERP or MRP System in processing purchasing related information is an advantage
What makes you great
- Bachelor's degree in economics, Supply chain management, Logistics or Business Administration
- Minimum 5 years progressively responsible experience in managing and participating in procurement, purchasing and sourcing services
- Proficient in computer software and ability to use ERP or MRP system, good MS Office skills
- Good communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, project management and follow up skills
- Fluent written and spoken English skills; any further language would be a plus
- Strong planning, analytical and forecasting skills
