Main purpose of the job

The HR Business Partner manages all the HR processes in the respective plant (recruiting, hiring, induction, training, personnel development, performance evaluation, benefits, compensation and administration).

Your responsibilities

  • Implements and applies HR policies, in alignment with ALPLA Global Policies and ensures compliance with them within the plant
  • Implements and maintain HR processes with regard to recruitment, hiring, induction, training, personnel development, performance evaluation, benefits, compensation and HR administration)
  • Prepare and issue organizational announcements
  • Actively attend weekly meetings with the Production Department in the plant to guarantee alignment and proper delivery of HR Services
  • Responsible for the implementation and coordination of all the recruitment processes within the plant, in alignment with ALPLA recruitment policy
  • Monitors the hiring process on factory level and offers support to the Payroll & Admin Expert in implementing the personnel administration and payroll processes
  • Offers support to the local management regarding the development and the implementation of induction plans for the new employees
  • Builds the annual training plan together with the local management and ensures its implementation at the factory level
  • Monitors the performance evaluation process at the factory level and provides support to the local management for completing the related steps within the system (ALPLA People System)
  • Responsible for Skill Matrix implementation at factory level
  • Register new employees and retire terminated employees in finger print/access system
  • Generate daily attendance report from finger print/access control system for production employees, on a weekly basis for the other departments and completing the missing data with physical records from the Security Officer
  • Monitor and follow-up on daily employees attendance and communicate the findings to the department managers
  • Conducting the exit interviews with the employees at the factory level
  • Any other tasks related to HR & Admin activities upon direct manager recommendations
  • Offers organizational and technical support to the Country HR Manager in various HR projects
  • Responsible for preparing the yearly Budget file, meeting with Managers of Departments to align on HR Budget needs and uploading the Budget figures on e-Mis
  • Built up a relation of trust with employees
  • Responsible for cleanliness in his/her area (has to follow the 5S standards and local cleaning plan and procedures)

What makes you great

  • 3-5 years proven work experience in HR within a manufacturing company and/or Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Administration or Law
  • Excellent Microsoft office skills
  • Experience in organizing and prioritizing a busy workload
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Focuses on confidentiality
  • Good communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Experience of using an HR database or system
  • Good business English language skills
